CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) MESSAGE
The HSSE programme is of primary importance — not only to our clients and KEV-O INTERNATIONAL LTD as a company, but also for the well-being of individuals.
Our action plan is deliberately based on marine and engineering best practices, which have served us well since the debut of KEV-O INTERNATIONAL LTD as an indigenous oilfield service company.
We will continue to be guided by our clients’ HSSE strategy and planning guide, which clearly states that exploration activities will be planned and executed in such a way as to:
“Avoid injury to and preserve the health and safety of its employees, those of its contractors, and of any members of the public who may be affected.
Minimize the impact on the environment in which our client operates.”
Every KEV-O INTERNATIONAL LTD employee must therefore plan his or her work in accordance with this policy. If an employee believes that a task cannot be carried out safely and in compliance with the policy, he or she must report this immediately to their supervisor.
As I have said repeatedly in the past — and continue to believe — people are our most important asset, and their safety is our greatest responsibility. The beneficiaries of an effective safety programme are not only the management but all personnel.
A safety programme cannot be effective without the cooperation and dedicated effort of every team member. In line with this statement, I want to emphasize that the safety of our employees is a major consideration in all our operations.
It is my intention that all personnel of KEV-O INTERNATIONAL LTD make safety their prime consideration, as no job is so important that we cannot take the time to do it safely.
